  18.      I am GLAD that Newtek made the good decision to stay with the 
  19. Amiga.. I really think/hope/pray that things turn around for the 
  20. better... I know there are a whole lot of people that have invested 
  21. large sums of money in thier system.. just to be told that "your 
  22. platform is not supported anymore"

  24. Has anyone actually seen the "Toaster for Windows" how does it 
  25. compare?? And as mentioned in the post below it can be used on the 
  26. Amiga as well.. Good...

  41. NewTek has said that they're with the Amiga till the end.  I will be 
  42. getting an 060 for my machine (once I get some cash, that is...), so I 
  43. will still have a viable renderer until those PPC Amigas come out in a 
  44. year or so, and then I'll get one of theose.  But NewTek is definatly 
  45. commited to the Amiga platform -- they are NOT jumping ship (info from 
  46. the NewTek BBS, taken from Tim Jenison)

  49. Good point -- by then many would have left the Amiga, or at least have 
  50. suplemenalt rendering machines.  But there are mny who will use Amiga DR 
  51. even if it is 12 months in the future (The Glass Is Half Full :) )
